John Prine Birthday Memorial and Mutual Aid Distro Richmond Benefit at the Camel

Sunday, October 10
Doors: | 7pm // Show: | 8pm

Through the past year of tragedy, we lost the patron saint of songwriting, John Prine. This loss was felt in isolation as stages were closed and mourning remained a silent and solitary endeavor. But John Prine’s music kept us warm when we needed it most, his laughter heard even in the most desolate silences, and his courage to support community must continue even without his physical presence. This has led to the first inaugural John Prine Birthday Memorial, a celebration for a good cause. In the spirit of JP, all proceeds from this show will go directly to the Mutual Aid Distro Richmond. Come to the Camel and drink a vodka ginger ale as JP smokes a nine mile cigarette in the pearly skies above!
