Rock’n’Roll for Julie Storey: A Benefit at the Camel w/ New Lions, Piranha Rama, Night Creature, & Teen Death

Sunday, August 15
Doors: | 7pm // Show: | 8pm
As many of you know, Richmond’s beloved Julie Storey of Doll Baby was diagnosed with a brain tumor earlier this month. Thankfully, she was admitted into the hospital for immediate surgery to remove the tumor mass that has been causing various health issues over the last decade; including a series of recent seizures. The good news: surgery was a success! From all accounts, Julie awoke with beaming positive energy, and her strength to not just survive, but thrive is truly an inspiration. Julie and Dan need to account for Chemo/Radiation treatment, cost of living, and alternative therapies, so now is our time as the Richmond music scene to step in and do our part! The Camel has graciously donated their space and waived all fees so that incredible local bands who have shared the stage with Doll Baby can Rock’n’Roll with a greater purpose! All proceeds will go directly to Julie and Dan! Julie is a radiant light and her music is a true gift, so give a gift back by partying at The Camel! (Poster donated by Brent McCormick)
