Body Meat

Across the 13 tracks that encompass 'Starchris', Body Meat(real name Christopher Taylor) explores the roughest edges of r&b, IDM, club music, experimental pop, trap, footwork, and metal, only to soften them into something remarkably warm and welcoming, finding catharsis amongst chaos.

With this record, Body Meat embarks on a multi-dimensional endeavor, partly influenced by the interwoven and complex world-building found in role playing video games. Taylor imagines each song as its own distinct ‘level,’ and himself as the avatar moving through an immersive storyline. In its totality, Starchris evokes both the exhilaration and the emotional challenges that are part of any long, transformative journey.

This record follows a string of acclaimed EP releases, which earned Body Meat early profiles with Pitchfork, Clash, Fact Mag, Bandcamp + more.

Anysia Kym

Anysia Kym is a Brooklyn-based producer and artist known for her distinctive style that blends R&B, electronic, and hip-hop influences. Originally a drummer for the Brooklyn band Blair, Kym moved into solo production and quickly gained attention for her collaborations with hip-hop artists like MIKE, Niontay, and Jadasea. Her recent solo album, Truest, has been praised as a shift toward more introspective and atmospheric sounds, featuring her own vocals layered over ambient, dream-like beats. Pitchfork describes the album as Kym's most personal work yet, marking a new chapter where she steps into the spotlight with her own voice, accompanied by the experimental production for which she is known

In addition, Kym collaborated with London-based artist Jadasea on the album Pressure Sensitive, where they explore a genre-blending style that Kym describes as influenced by hip-hop but with a unique, unclassifiable sound. This project shows her versatility and willingness to push beyond conventional genres, resulting in a mix of grime, garage, and experimental beats

Doris

Doris is an experimental hip-hop artist and visual creator who recently gained attention with his debut album, Ultimate Love Songs Collection. Known for his lo-fi, sample-heavy style, DORIS explores personal themes with a raw, unpolished sound. His work blends intimate, bedroom-recorded vocals with woozy, distorted beats, channeling influences from artists like Dean Blunt and MIKE. His music reflects an unconventional yet relatable passion for the art, often recorded in solitude. This album received acclaim from Pitchfork, with an 8.3 rating for its honesty and emotional depth.
