Dusty Rug's high desert hard rock varies from searing psychedelic to thunderous and emotive ballads. With an eye on the future and firm handle on the past, this four-piece feels at times like a mid-70’s fever dream and and at others, a thrashing nightmare. Scorching electric guitar from Eric Verellen dances with singer Dylan Harris' high-octane, four octave-range while he delivers thoughtful lyrics with unrelenting power and surprising sensitivity. The band is driven by the grinding and bombastic rhythms of Phil Gibbs and the melodic, engaging bass of Timothy Erbach.
